The One With Sunbathing and Psuedo-Canadians

Guess whose favourite pseduo-Canadian swung back into town from Exeter? Mine did! Yes, Krista came to Ottawa all the way from Exeter, via Lac Bernard-Wakefield-Gatineau. I wish I had photo proof for you, but Krista is inherently camera shy. However, this is what we looked like in first year:

And this is us last September on Krista's lake, (Lac Bernard), on Krista's boat, taking pictures of ourselves because there were no beavers in the damn in front of us:

Anyway, Krista came to Ottawa! And it was so very wonderful to see her. I introduced her to Zak's Diner and we made food babies of epic proportions, because that's what you do when you socialise over food. Roll on fourth year fun times with this lovely lady!

Sun also came to Ottawa, as did sunburn. But that's the price you pay for taking your beaver tails to Parliament Hill and sunbathing. Team Exeter ran into Christina and Josh which was lush and then we went to Zak's with Julie. Yep, I'm introducing new names into this blog this late in the game. Tuesday was Lydia's last day in Ottawa so we took one last wander around the city and I ate bison. Because I am Canadian and that's what I do.

If I blogged things soon after they happened, I'd be able to tell you in more detail what happened in the past week, but I didn't, so I just have hazy memories of eating much much food. LIKE GELATO! Oh my days, I almost forgot having gelato at Sugar Mountain.

Zak's was screening a Sens' hockey game, complete with this Justin Trudeau-bashing advert. These Canadians fight dirty when it comes to their politics, eh?

Oh, but what a pretty head to be way in over.
